Bread Cabinet: makeover!

Look what i got for $1 at a yard sale this weekend!!
It started out this nasty blue! i sanded it down, painted it white/ distressed it again by sanding it, then i stained it and then i spalked it with black. i pretty much LOVE IT!Now i dont have to shove all are bread and tortillas in the cabinet! and it was only a DOLLAR!!!

  1. Looks great!!! I have a bread box that I just got at a garage sale for 25 cents in my garage waiting to be redone. I didn't need it at all, but can you really pass it up for 25 cents? :) Maybe you've motivated me to get it done!

  4. Holy crap I love that! So cute. My parents have one and I keep begging to take it off their hands but they won't let me.

  5. I pretty much love it too!!! Explain to me what you did with the black? I don't know what you mean by spalked.... It looks so good. I did another corn husk wreath. The perfectionist in me wasn't happy with that one. I am painting the original one and putting it in my son's room. Adds some spunk.

  6. Oh-ps. I am wanting to recover my recliner. I saw you recovered a bench a while back. Would you come with me to pick a fabric in Safford at the scrap/quilt store and help me? I am desperate, it looks awful. Text me if you can... 928-965-9409. Thanks so so so much. SHerri
