i must say i do like theres better, maybe i need to add some green, But hey FOr $ 1 Cant go wrong. i bought the books at the thrift store for 25 cents each. and thent he dried flowers for 25 cents also at the thrift store, i just sanded them all down to make them look worn.

For the last few months i have been web surfing to try to find all the right things for my new "Shabby Chic" room. I love all of these pictures, and plan on makeing everything i see....bed skirts, curtains, and all the little accessories. I love the Wood head board. i Have No idea who that man is, but we have one thing in common. We both like the head board. So if you have any other wonderful chic ideas. PLEASE. let me know!!!

CRIB Bench, tutorial comeing tomorrow!!!

I just LOVE this, i have been searching for a tutorial on how to make a bench out of a crib. Finally i just made up my own because i couldnt find one that i liked. I think it turned out so good for my first one. So come tomorrow and see how you can make one out of those old cribs that are laying around everywhere. :)

My new Hutch, GREEN!!!

I got the color from Home Depot. Oregano, painted, sanded and stained it. I love it!!!!

So here are some before pictures. At first i painted it white and stained it. I loved it that way, but i needed some color in my dinning room. SO thanks to my Great SNL she helped me painted it green. I love it!! what do you think?

My Hobby lobby Rooster Remake!

This past weekend we went up to the Valley and went to my Favorite store, hobby lobby! I got this rooster on the left from there for $ 4.50. When i got home i started playing with it and created my own (on the right). Not to bad!!

I thought it would be cute to make a picture like this with two facing each other.

My grandma has Had a ton of panel from when she was redoing her house, So now it over flows in my garage. So i stenciled the hobby lobby rooster onto it and cut it out using a jigsaw. So i made one that stands up, and then two facing each other for my picture. The frame was just scrap stuff that i had, again Over flowing my garage!

Decorating for the 4th!!!

I love everything about JUly, the 4th, my BIRTHDAY is in July and then we celebrate pioneer day on the 24th. It is just such a fun month full of fun events! Happy Memorial Day!
